Run for HopeThe Caring for Carcinoid Foundation (CFCF) proudly supports the annual Run for Hope hosted by Jeanne Lambert.
Introduction
The Run for Hope is hosted annually by Jeanne Lambert to raise funds for carcinoid awareness and research. On May 18, 2004, Jeanne was diagnosed with stage IV carcinoid cancer. Jeanne says the moment she was diagnosed, she knew it was a pivotal point in her life. In 2005, Jeanne inaugurated the Run for Hope. She was told not to expect more than 50 participants. Instead, Jeanne raised $15,000 and attracted 420 participants! Jeanne also received a signed proclamation from the Governor of Colorado acknowledging her extraordinary efforts. 2010 Run for Hope

2006 Run for HopeThe 2006 Run for Hope took place on August 12, 2006 in Fort Collins, Colorado. This event was organized by Jeanne Lambert with her family and friends. Once again, the Run for Hope proved a major success due to the tireless efforts of Jeanne and many volunteers. In addition, Jeanne succeeded in having August proclaimed "Carcinoid Cancer Awareness Month" by the State of Colorado and City of Fort Collins. An excerpt from the Fort Collins proclamation:
