How I Survive Cancer
Hello, I was diagnosed with carcinoid tumours when I was 17 weeks pregnant after having my appendix removed.
The tumours were also located in my bowel and 4 months after I delivered a healthy baby girl I had surgery to remove my large bowel.Annual routine tests revealed that I had developed 2 carcinoid tumours in my liver. These tumours are inoperable, I have had radiation therapy and now I see a fantastic oncologist.
I am now in my late 30's and I am pregnant again and I have developed carcinoid symptoms.
